Kim Kardashian has reached a new milestone in her pursuit to become a lawyer, celebrating her law school graduation with an intimate ceremony surrounded by family and friends.

On Wednesday, Kardashian shared photos and videos of the backyard celebration, where her sister Khloe could be heard announcing, “Surprise graduation!” The event marked the end of a demanding six-year journey, balancing legal studies with running multiple businesses, filming reality TV, and raising four children.

Attorney Jessica Jackson, who mentored Kardashian throughout her studies, spoke at the ceremony. “Six years ago, Kim Kardashian walked into this program with nothing but a fierce desire to fight for justice,” Jackson said. “No law school lectures, no ivory tower shortcuts, just determination and a mountain of case log books to read.” Jackson highlighted Kardashian’s dedication, noting she logged over 5,000 hours of legal study while juggling her many responsibilities.

Kardashian’s passion for criminal justice reform has already made a tangible impact. She played a key role in securing the release of Alice Marie Johnson, a first-time nonviolent drug offender, after serving 21 years in prison. Kardashian’s advocacy prompted President Donald Trump to commute Johnson’s sentence in 2018 and grant her a pardon in 2020.

During the celebration, Kardashian was seen proudly holding her certificate of completion, with loved ones cheering her on. She also shared a tribute photo of her late father, Robert Kardashian, the renowned attorney best known for his role in the OJ Simpson trial, marking a full-circle moment in her legal journey.
